ABOUT

Alan Chan was born in Hong Kong. Having studied Fine Arts & Graphic Design at Otis College of Art and Design, He somehow ended up turning wrenches for a living.

However, inspired by his day job as a bus mechanic at LA Metro, his affinity for classic American vintage workwear and a good old-fashioned blue-collar work ethic, he decided to combine his interests, vision & expertise to establish Time & Silence in 2009.

Time & Silence is an independently run & owned clothing company that stands for quality & integrity, born out of the need for sustainable & responsibly made garments.
